Nothing is more frustrating when you finally have time to play your saxophone and your reed is giving you problems. You need to practice, but your reed aggravates you to the point that you throw in the towel, and give up before you even start. Proper preparation of a reed is tremendously important in obtaining a good quality sound from your saxophone.
