If you are going to sing in public, you will need to have a reasonable level of fitness, as you will use a fair amount of energy when on stage. If you lack physical stamina, you'll become fatigued easily and your breathing and voice control will suffer. By participating in physical exercise, you'll not only become healthier and fitter, but you'll also improve your lung capacity.
