The Dave Clark Five was a famous British pop rock band. The band was the second British rock band that appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show during the British Invasion Era, next to The Beatles. Their singles "I Want to Hold Your Hand" and "Glad All Over" made it on the top of British Charts and successfully invaded the United States when it landed the number six spot on the US charts in February 1964.
