One of the first mods that anybody makes to their guitar is to change the pickups. This can be for various reasons, it maybe that you bought a cheap lower model guitar, your after a specific tone or you've heard some famous rock god plays a particular brand and you want them. In my opinion most cheap guitars come with cheap Chinese nonsense pickups, that's because they are cheap nonsense crap guitars and don't deserve anything else.
